Alpha Pro Tech, LTD To Announce 2005 Second Quarter
Results on August 8, 2005

NOGALES, ARIZONA - August 2, 2005 -- Alpha Pro Tech (AMEX: APT; CHX:APT), a leading manufacturer of products designed to protect people and environments, including disposable protective apparel and construction supply weatherization products, announced today that it will have a conference call regarding its 2005 second quarter financial results, which ended on June 30, 2005. This is the first conference call for the company and management will be hosting calls semi-annually, providing a mid and full year review on a go forward basis. The next call will be held in conjunction with the release of the calendar 2005 earnings.

The conference call will take place at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time, on Monday, August 8, 2005.
